Kandinsky and Concentric Circles

To start of the year the second grade artists learned all about different types of paintings. They can identify a landscape, portrait, still life and an abstract. We went on to learn about the grandfather of abstract paint Wassily Kandinsky. We studied his concentric circles and created our own with paper and paint.
