The second grade artists are
familiar with the works of the artist Van
Gogh. When they were in first grade the student artists studied Starry Night and Sunflowers. This year we pay homage to Van
Gogh again by creating a "Not Starry Night". The artists choose to paint a new time of day and a new weather
phenomena. They had to include the cypress tree on the left, the village, horizon line and brush strokes of Van
Gogh. Here are some of the results.
