Greece

The third grade artists studied Greek art. They learned the difference between an amphora, kylix, krater and a hydria. They learned about styles and motifs used on the vases. They also learned about Greek social systems. The artists made coins for their own polis (city). The artists then learned about the classical order and later told me that they now impress their family and friends with their mad column identifying skills.
